Pasotti

An ivory floral Pasotti umbrella styled on a city street

Italy · Since 1956

An everyday object, made extraordinary.

Pasotti began in 1956, when Ernesta Pasotti started making distinctive umbrellas in the countryside near Mantova. She sold her creations directly, and, with her husband Vittorio overseeing sales, a small artisan business grew into an internationally recognised name. The family story continued through their daughter Eva Giacomini and the next generation, Nicola and Andrea Begotti.

Still based in Castellucchio, Pasotti makes its umbrellas by hand in Italy, with a focus on limited editions, expressive fabrics and distinctive handles. Its approach brings decoration and utility together: a familiar object becomes an opportunity for colour, texture and personality. That attention to detail is what draws us to the brand at Finest Essentials.
