Dents

Navy Dents leather gloves worn while holding a book

England · Since 1777

A long tradition, close at hand.

John Dent established his glove business in Worcester in 1777, beginning in a small wooden house on Wood Street. Over the following centuries, Dents expanded beyond Britain, opening factories across Europe and sales offices in cities including Paris and New York. Its history includes the embroidered white leather glove made for Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953.

Today, the brand combines that long experience with contemporary designs for everyday wear. Its Heritage Collection is made at the Dents factory in Warminster, where traditional cutting and stitching skills remain central to production. Across our Dents selection, supple leathers, considered linings and clean proportions bring this enduring interest in fit and finish to modern wardrobes.
